The opportunity

We are currently looking for a data engineer to join our Digital Lab team mainly involved in developing our flagship product id3 (https://id3.kwantis.com/). You will actively partner with our developers, consultants, and clients to design and develop new solutions and pipelines to improve and extend the software.

We work with the following languages and tools: Python, SQL and noSQL databases, AWS cloud, Jenkins and Azure pipelines.

Your primary responsibilities

  • Design and develop data pipelines to extract, transform and load data from various data sources
  • Design database ER to best support id3 data handling.
  • Manage bug fixes, and maintenance for our repositories.
  • Prepare technical documentation/presentation for projects (in English).

The ideal candidate:

  • Has experience on Python and SQL.
  • Has a good knowledge of data transformation (ETL) and data communication technologies.
  • Is familiar with AWS cloud and knows CI/CD practices.
  • Is familiar with version control tools like Git and can work comfortably in a team.
  • Is interested in learning and in new technologies.


Bonus points if:

  • Is familiar with main concept of machine learning and software engineering.
  • Is familiar with Redis.
  • Is familiar with python libraries: PySpark and pandas.
