kwantis, in collaboration with Eni and Politecnico di Milano, published an article in the scientific journal “Stochastic Environmental Research and Risk Assessment” (Volume 32, Issue 9, September 2018). The article describes an innovative approach for the probabilistic risk calculation of uncontrolled hydrocarbons release during deepwater oil wells drilling, including a comparative of both standard and Eni innovative technologies of intervention in terms of their potentials to mitigate environmental impacts and risks related to the oil spill.
