kwantis paper @ IADC Conference

Eni, the Italian largest energy company, will present a paper written together with kwantis at the 2020 IADC International Well Control Conference on 13th-14th October. The paper describes the process to evaluate the blowout risk, by far the most significant threat to upstream activities, in terms of probability of occurrence and impacts. The approach combines a fault tree analysis for the evaluation of causes of blowout, and Monte Carlo simulations for the estimation of consequences in terms of potential spill.
