Kwantis recently started a new project for a major oil company implementing a system able to process production data and store them in a Corporate Database, compliant with the PRODML international standard. This project exploits the experience gained by kwantis in the management of Energistics standard objects and in providing services for the data storage. The PRODML standard includes a set of XML objects that can be used to consistently capture and communicate production data, including fluid and pressure-volume-temperature (PVT) analysis data. This will also provide the benefit of working with a standard native for the ingestion in the OSDU platform. The Open Group announced the PRODML compliance in the next MVP2 release of the OSDU platform.
