A construction company has to bore a 15m diameter tunnel for a high speed train line in an environmentally sensitive area. Special attention is paid on schedule interfaces with contiguous line developments. Kwantis consultant developed a schedule risk model to address and evaluate these criticalities.

Kwantis consultant applied a risk and performance management approach that included uncertainties evaluation, project progress measurement (Earned Value Management), and the evaluation of acceleration scenarios. A dedicated probabilistic model was developed to focus on the Tunnel Bore Machine performance.
