After building an integrated risk management system for all drilling projects in Eni E&P, kwantis took the process to the company's affiliates through a series of dedicated workshops.
The challenge
kwantis had developed an integrated risk management system for all drilling projects in Eni E&P. It was then assigned to disseminate the process among the affiliates, and to spread risk management culture and techniques among their drilling and completion engineers and managers.
Our approach
kwantis partners and consultants were sent to the USA, Tunisia, Egypt, Congo, Angola, Iraq, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, China, Russia and Norway to run the workshops.
- Each workshop was adapted to the level of knowledge requested, from one day (awareness) to one week (full proficiency).
- Each was built around theory, explicit examples and practical exercises based on the local reality.
The outcome
The workshops promoted both knowledge and practice of risk management in the affiliates. Since then, kwantis consultants have continuously supported the affiliates in using the risk management system, through web conferences or direct support on the job.
