A highway in a dense urban environment had to be covered to limit traffic nuisance. The main challenge was to maintain circulation during the works. Kwantis was involved in the initial risk assessment of the project.

Kwantis consultants realized a detailed risk register of the project, starting from a brainstorm, and then detailing each risk issue with the competent project function. Probability and impact were evaluated for each risk and then mapped on dedicated risk matrixes.

The risk study highlighted the need for additional ground stability studies, that were necessary to reduce project uncertainties. Finally the risk register was submitted to the local authorities to successively activate the project approval process.
