The challenge
A highway running through a dense urban environment had to be covered to limit traffic nuisance. The main challenge was to maintain circulation throughout the works.
Our approach
kwantis consultants built a detailed risk register for the project, involving all the project experts:
- A brainstorm produced the first list of risks.
- Each risk issue was then detailed with the competent project function.
- Probability and impact were evaluated for each risk and mapped on dedicated risk matrices.
The outcome
The risk study highlighted the need for additional ground stability studies to reduce the project uncertainties.
The risk register was then submitted to the local authorities to start the project approval process.
