In its latest Environmental Report, Kwantis outlines the progress of its sustainability efforts, noting measurable steps taken to reduce carbon emissions and encourage a more environmentally conscious workplace.
Emissions Performance
Kwantis has reported a per-employee emission of 989.8 kg CO₂, significantly below the hybrid office average of 1,500–3,000 kg CO₂ and even beneath the industry best-practice range.
Driving Emission Reductions Through Smart Practices
Kwantis achieved these results by implementing a range of sustainability measures. These included the adoption of 100% renewable electricity (with the supply generated entirely from renewable sources), encouraging remote work, and reducing business travel by 11%. The company also promoted energy-saving behaviours in the office. As a result, the company achieved a 12% reduction in per-employee emissions compared to the previous year.
Next Steps
Following the progress made in 2024, Kwantis will continue to focus on improving its sustainability practices across daily operations. Efforts will be directed toward more efficient resource management, reducing environmental impact in office workflows, and maintaining transparency through regular reporting. The company also plans to encourage broader staff involvement and consider initiatives that support responsible waste handling and community engagement. These actions are intended to support Kwantis’s long-term environmental goals while maintaining its relatively low emissions profile.
