A partner of kwantis took part of the organization of Expo02, the last national exhibition organized by Switzerland. His intervention gave support to the Expo02 management in measuring uncertainties related to project sizing, scheduling and budgeting.

A complete project risk management process was implemented and then coordinated, involving all Expo02 departments. The intervention included also an audit of the most critical functions, highlighted by the initial risk assessment of the project. As an example, project sizing was seen critical, and therefore a dedicated study was performed by modelling visitors circulation and facilities sizing through system dynamics models.

Finally all risk issues were consolidated in economic and schedule probabilistic assessments. These analyses were regularly updated and reported to the Expo02 top management.
